Pizza Place

We ate at this local pizza place the other day and we took our two leftover slices home in this box. Do you notice anything about the box?

It's hard to believe that the towers are now a memory that's considered 'old'

Hola, Cory-

Josh crushed my car yesterday!! Our only car... it is only 3 years old!! Although we had good use out of it, I am still sad.. it is my first car.. it is my baby!!!!

Actually Josh never went to Taiwan before, this will be his first time, and whether he likes it or not, he will be stocked there for a year or two, without knowing the language!!! He is worried... do you have any suggestions for him?
By the way, my hometown is Taipei!!

I will stop here now.. I was too worried to sleep about my car last night. So.. I will talk to you next time!! Night!

I notice that it has the appearance of being cardboard. What are you noticing that is supposed to maybe be noticeable?

Ah, it just might have both towers in the Twin Towers.

Definitely makes you think when you see that image. You know, I actually have a roll of film I took during my last week in NY, which I've yet to develop; it has photos of the twin towers on it. I bet the people who print them (if I ever drop it off) will be surprised.

Ann, do you suppose that this is what they mean when they say aging society? The towers are still very fresh in my mind and I don't think that they were even 'old' to begin with. Were they? Strange, huh! ;)

Lan, gosh, I'm sorry to hear about the crash. Is everybody okay? Just remember that cars can be replaced but husbands cannot! :) I hope that nobody was hurt and the car is still driveable though... So it's his first time to Taiwan and Josh is going to be all of the sudden living there. Wow! That's a great recipe for culture shock (and adventure)!!! BUT as long as he is up for a quick change of environment and open to a different way of life (and loves Taiwanese food--how could anyone not?), he'll be fine! I'd say that the more Chinese he speaks, the richer his experience will become. Study up, Josh! :) Where will you guys be living, by the way? I may have some suggestions for you if you are looking for advice, you know, from one American to another. You can e-mail me if you'ld like at: corysensei@yahoo.com
You guys take care!

Ryan, bingo!

Eric, develop those pictures! Doesn't film go bad after a certain amount of time anyway? I'd love to see your shots of the towers and I'm sure that the people in the darkroom will be very surprised!
