After a while, crocodile...

At a place called home

We recently discovered

Roof access

A night view of the city two floors up from our park view

City lights with my new tripod.

Just chillin'.

Getting ready for Halloween. (CLICK for larger image)

Week after week, it's the same stuff.

Back and forth, around and around.

I wish that I had more to say

But I really don't.

So keep watch.

Stay cool.

And don't forget about this pic of my brother!
I had to repost this because he recently deleted his blog...
The Internet just wouldn't be the same without it, right!
Hey, Ryan! Hope that blogless life is all that you hoped it would be.

Take care, everyone! BYE for now.

Nice blog. I linked over here from Lacey's blog.

It's nice to see my adopted hometown framed in a so many different ways.

Liked your post on evandalism as well,

Mike

Great post. Farah is clearly the right muse for you - the two shots in the rooftop doorway are great.

My favorite penguin shot is the one on the couch - not with the beer, but where you're looking grumpy. Don't know why, but that made me laugh.

Peace,

Tyson

I guess I have to sign in anonymously now. I'm telling you, I'll check your blog if you get one of those subscription dealios.

Great pics as always. I love the N-hood Watch sign. Thanks for coming over tonight.

House of Grace, Word!

Hi Wanzi. I'm glad that you enjoy reading our blogs. Thank you SO MUCH for your compliments; it means a lot to me! Honestly, sometimes I wonder if anybody ever reads this thing so it's nice to hear that this blog does have somewhat of an audience. Knowing that, maybe I should post more often now, huh. ;) So what is your profile name on Love School? Maybe you can leave a link to your profile the next time you stop by so that I too can visit you online! :)

Mike, I'm glad that you liked the evandalism post. To be honest, I was hoping for more of a response at the time but I'm afraid that it went almost unseen. It's great that you are also one to think constructively and care about the current state of the area. I have to agree with you that "Revel CA" certainly sounds a whole lot more positive than "Repent CA" and we have a lot of work to do. The only question is: what do we do?

Tyson, thanks a lot. We still need to do a photo shoot of you and your sweet ride.

Ryan, if you are going to keeping coming by I'll have to see about getting one of those subscription things for the el blogo. The Neighborhood Watch sign doesn't say much for people looking out for the neighborhood, does it? Interestingly enough, this came from Grandma's neighborhood. It would almost be better if they just took it down... Thanks for having me over last night. Sorry that I wasn't much fun being so tired...

I think you might have confused Lacey's Blog with me. I saw your comment on her post, but I didn't write it, she did. My main blog is The 25 Year Plan, which is, if I do say so myself, an incredibly inspirational blog!

BTW:As it appears you know a thing or two about photography, and because like all modern day journalists I often take my own photos, I though maybe you could give me some advice.

My dad's friend has a hardly used Cannon Eos Digital Rebel 300D (6 mega pixel). Besides the 18-55mm lens it came with, it includes:

1 extra battery
28-200mm Sigma telescopic lens
UV filter
Tamrac camera case
1 GB compact flash card

All for $500. Good deal??

As always, cool stuff, Cory. I like the Farah pics in particular, and in a close competition, the bearded little Ryan just nudges the nutty penguins. Nice to see a new post!

Mike (not Lacey), I'm so sorry for the confusion. I will definitely have to clear that up with Lacey as soon as I get a chance as I have made a fool of myself! Also I should redirect my gratitude towards you for telling me about the link! That's much apprecaited. It's always a good thing to know that thoughts posted online actually caused some others to think. At any rate, sorry about the senior moment I had earlier. This must be a sign of stress... Ahem. Anyway, I will definitely be checking out your real blog and in hopes of being inspired! As for the Canon, it sounds like a good camera according to this review. I know that it has been out for several years now so the once retail price of $899 should have dropped considerably; but if the camera has not been used much and is in excellent condition, it may be of good value. If I were you, I would check the retail value of the Sigma lens and read up on it just so you know what to expect. The 55mm kit lens should be decent but you may find that you want something more after using it a while (this coming from the review). I wish that I had more time right now to check for you but searching eBay might help put things into perspective. It sounds like a good deal and we all know that Canon makes good cameras (although I shoot with a Nikon). Punch the numbers and see if it makes sense for you. A digital SLR is definitely the way to go! Happy shopping, Mike.

Eric, what would you think of making T-shirts with the bearded Ryan pic on it? I have some T-shirt iron-on decals that I've been dying to use! Hmm...

I think a little bearded-Ryan t-shirt would make a great gift for the approaching holiday season!

Hello, it's the mysterious Lacey. :) Thank you very much for the comment posted on my blog, even if it was only halfway directed at me. I found your Evandalism blog when I did a search for "Repent CA" on google, and had to /oggle at all the stunning photographs here!

Keep up the good work!

Hey Wanzi, thanks for sharing your photo album! It looks like you have lots of friends and keep yourself pretty busy! Good for you. I didn't get to look at all of the photos yet--a little here, a little there--but I will be back again to see more. Anyway, thanks for all of the compliments and I hope that you come back again. See you around! :)

Lacey, it's kind of scary what you kind find on a Google search when you think about it, huh! ;) I'm always so impressed with how much information is out there and how easy it is to find. I'm really glad that others out there are curious about the whole 'Repent CA' thing... I'll be back to visit your site as well as Mikes' site when I can. Unfortunately, I'm not very active on Blogger as time to blog is usually hard to come by. Speaking of which, I gotta run!!!
