Elaine, I really should have taken your advice! But I'm a gangsta yo! It's just too hard to resist the urge in the 9-1-6! ;) If somebody does this to my new truck though I may just have to bust out my gat and pop a cap in... wait, I don't own a gun! What am I talking about?! I hope that this doesn't happen again though...
Ryan, let me know if you find the answer to that question because this is my second time in six months that my car has been vandalized!!
Satsuki (Hilary), thanks for stopping by!! I think you may be on to something... We're looking forward to seeing you in LA soon la! I put that last part in there for you! ;)
Eric, I hope that it's not too bad. I'm totally looking forward to seeing you today. Drive safely and watch for bullets on your way into Sacramento!
I actually found that my car was indeed shot by a BB gun for sure. I defintely thought so because of the size of the hole and the shattered glass, but when I found a BB dent on the tailgate (yes, it chipped the paint), my garage, and a slight blemish on the left taillight, I knew for sure that someone was intentionally mean to my Mazda.
Ryan, it sounds like your truck/ house was shot at multiple times which makes me think that it probably was not a drive-by shooting, well, unless they are making semi-automatic BB guns these days. By any chance, did you tell your neighbors about this? Not to point any fingers but I wouldn't be surprised if it was one of the kids from across the street. I sure hope that you were able to file a police report...
Cory, is that a bird in the last shot? I think I've seen that bird before. Hmmm... Ryan, re: the multi-BB spree - although I don't suspect the kids across the street, I do agree with the idea of filing a police report about the incident. (That can be done on-line.) If somebody in the hood is getting a little trigger happy it may be hitting more than your property. I think there are some pretty frequent sweeps in your 'hood anyway. A report could give the cops a new tack of what to watch for to prevent this from happening to someone else.
House of Grace, you are the only one to find my hidden message! Good eye, mate! ;) And I totally agree with you that when something like this happens the police need to be involved on some level. I, personally, would let my neighbors know so that they can patrol the neighborhood (and their kids). They always say that it takes one to know one and I'm not proud of it but I had my shooting days as I child. Just ask the neighbors window about that one! ;)
