Our State Capital is...
getting hot!
I mean, just like they said it would and all...
(it's our first summer up here)
My only concern is that if it's this hot now...
What's it going to be like in August?!?
Well, I guess that there are plenty of other things to complain about so I'll just stuff a sock in it and deal with the heat for now.
And in the meantime I'll be glad that...
My sweet grandmother is coming up tomorrow for a visit.
That's about it for now.

Oh, it's going to be really hot in August. SoCal bakes though too and it can feel pretty miserable there too.
It's maybe good that your place faces North because then the direct son will not be beating down on your house.
Last summer I enjoyed filling up the kiddie pool and found myself in there frequently to cool off. You can always come over so that Noah can squirt you with the hose. I think he'd be very happy to do that.
Very cool shot of the Capital and shadow. And I like the one of your grandma and the bacon- those two things just go hand in hand. I hope she has a nice visit with you and your family.
